Chairman - George Wilhelm
George Wilhelm is a lifetime Faith resident who attended Faith School as a child. George has a BA from Pfieffer University and is the retired sheriff of Rowan County. He currently serves as District Chairman of the Scouts of Rowan County and is the President of the Faith Community Endowment. George is also an NC Regional Training Counselor for the NRA and teaches shooting sports skills for all ages. In all capacities education has been a priority in his life.
Vice Chairman - Gene Miller
Gene Miller graduated from Appalachian State University with a BS in Education and Science and earned his graduate degree in banking from the University of Virginia. He also holds an Advanced Degree for School Finance Officer from the NC Department of Public Instruction. Gene is a retired Assistant Superintendent of Operations, having worked for both the Rowan-Salisbury Schools and Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools. Prior to that, he was the Senior Regional Vice President and City Executive for Southern National Bank and First Colony Savings. Gene serves on numerous boards including: State Employees Credit Union, Communities in Schools, Nazareth’s Child and Family Connection (Vice Chairman), Church Council (Chairman) First United Methodist Church, and the Salisbury Civitan Club (District Area Director). He is married to Martha S. Miller of Laurinburg since 1971 and has two children, a daughter in Charlotte and a son in Atlanta and two grandchildren. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf, traveling and shag dancing.
Secretary - Tim Williams
Timothy (Tim) R. Williams is a semi-retired registered pharmacist who has been practicing for over 40 years. He is currently employed by Novant Health Rowan Medical Center. Tim is the former alderman and mayor of the town of Faith and a former advisory council member for Faith School and Erwin Middle School. Tim has been a lifelong member of Faith Lutheran Church. He is married to the former Becky Pethel. They have two children and two grandchildren.
Treasurer - Elizabeth Morrow
Liz Morrow graduated from Appalachian State University with a Masters in Accounting. She currently works part time for Potter and Company in Concord and for her family’s rental real estate business. She is married to Dan Morrow and has three boys: Luke, Walker, and Jack. She is an active member of First Baptist Church, and the Salisbury and Faith Elementary PTAs. Her favorite activities are fishing, snow skiing, hiking, and going to the lake.
Member - Chris Sease
Chris Sease is an attorney practicing in Salisbury. Chris is a 2004 graduate of East Rowan High School. He graduated from Pfeiffer University in 2007 with a degree in Pre-Law. Chris graduated from the UNC School of Law in 2010 and has been practicing in Salisbury since then. Chris and his wife, Katie met in high school and have three children: Penelope, Rhett, and Toby. Chris sits on the Board of Managers at the East Rowan YMCA, the Capital Appeals Committee and inFaith Committee at Christiana Lutheran Church, the Court Appointed Committee for the Rowan County Bar, and is a past president of the 27th District Bar. Chris wants to ensure that the east Rowan community is well represented and continues to receive top-notch education for the children in the community.
Member - Janna Griggs
Janna Griggs received a BA in Therapeutic Horsemanship and Business Administration from St. Andrews University. She is also Certified as a Therapeutic Riding Instructor and Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning. She is the Executive Director of Saving Grace Farm, a nonprofit organization in Salisbury, that provides therapeutic riding and equine assisted activities to people with special needs. Janna is a native to Rowan County. Growing up near Cleveland, NC, she now resides right outside of Faith with her husband, son, and daughter.
Member - Nick Lefko
Nick Lefko attended Faith Elementary school as a child and graduated from Catawba College where he was a 4 year starter for the Catawba Baseball team. He has been an Aflac Independent Insurance Agent since 2008. Nick attends Shiloh Reformed Church of Faith and resides in Faith with his wife, Kara, his daughter, Brinley, and his step-daughter, Braelyn.
